Kettler Kadett Rowing Machine – Outrigger Style Rower Review

Rowing is a great all-around workout that exercises all major muscle groups and by using the Kettler Kadett Rowing Machine you can also increase stamina. This machine is typical of German engineering – it’s extremely well-designed and engineered.

The two hydraulic cylinders can be adjusted on a scale of 1 to 12 resistance. The seat is ergonomically designed for comfort. The rollers provide a smooth authentic rowing action. The foot plates have adjustable straps. The oars fold up and it comes with an anti-slip base that will keep you firmly in place as you’re working out at any resistance.

An onboard computer provides all the information you’ll need for a measured workout and gives vital information including pulse rate, the total distance covered, amount of energy used, the number of strokes and the speed. You can pre-program the computer for a specific distance or time and the machine will give you visual and audible signals once you have completed your workout. It also comes with the latest in outrigger design.

The Kettler Kadett Rowing Machine is designed to hold people up to 250 pounds.

Kettler Kadett Rowing Machine – Outrigger Style Rower User Review

I was attracted by the fact that the Kettler Kadett Rowing Machine is German designed and engineered.

The assembly instructions were not too difficult and come in a number of different languages but it still took me in early two hours to build it. Unfortunately I was missing one washer, but managed to find one in my garage that I could use.

I couldn’t wait to get on the Kettler. It was very impressive once I had built it and I was hoping that the workout would be the same.

I like quiet when I exercise and that’s why I row as a hobby when weather permits. I set the resistance to 3 and after a few minutes on my new Kettler Kadett I found that I could close my eyes and actually imagine that I was rowing down the river.

The machine only makes a couple of very minor sounds as you work out. I set the monitor to 30 minutes and when I heard the signal that told me my workout was over I was worried that I hadn’t actually had a particularly beneficial workout. I shouldn’t have worried I could barely stand up. My legs felt like sticks of boiled rhubarb!

For the price and the workout you can get from this machine I recommend it to anybody who wants to work on all the major muscles in their body with the least strain and impact. The machine is a pleasure to look at and use.

Bottom line

The Kettler Kadett Rowing Machine – Outrigger Style Rower is a fantastic machine that you’ll be proud to own and you’ll be even more proud of the results you get from using it regularly.

And even if you don’t understand German, the video below will give you a great view of how the Kettler Kadett Rowing Machine works.
