Sole F80 Treadmill Review

For what you pay the Sole F80 treadmill is well worth the price. Sole has been in the fitness equipment business for decades and they strive to offer top quality products at competitive prices. Many of their elliptical trainers and treadmills can be found in hotel exercise rooms and commercial health clubs, which attests to their durability.

If you’re a runner then you will enjoy using the Sole F80. It’s solidly constructed and just as a warning, weighs 250 pounds and does require putting together once it’s delivered. This is overall a powerful and durable machine that goes from 0.5 mph up to 11mph.

It has an industrial quality 3 hp continuous duty motor, and a zinc coated balanced flywheel which gives a quiet and vibration free surface.

Sole uses a much heavier flywheel than in comparable treadmills. It gives runners a smooth and fluid motion that they would expect from a gym quality treadmill.

Sole also added a low-impact, super quiet patented Cushion Flex deck. This reduces a large amount of impact on ankles, feet, knees, hips and spine and enables runners to use the machine for long periods while staying comfortable so recovery time is fast.

The Cushion Flex deck reduces impact by up to 40% compared to running on asphalt.

The Sole F80 Treadmill also has a 7 ½ inch backlit LCD monitor which displays important information such as speed, level of incline, calories burned, pulse rate, and distance covered. The console also has a quarter-mile track and peak and valley graph for some programs.

The Sole F80 also sports an integrated speaker system so you can listen to your iPod or MP3 player while you run, walk or jog. The monitor also has a message board system that analyzes your entire routine when you’re done. That way you could see how you’re progressing from one work out to the next.

The F80 comes with a stopwatch, inclined controls and a 20 x 60” running belt. The F80 is great value for money in its class and you can fold it up!

Sole F80 Treadmill User Review

The sole F80 certainly felt like a commercial quality machine when it was delivered – it isSole F80 Treadmill review extremely heavy so be warned that it’s best to have two people to help move it and put it together.

It doesn’t take long to construct  and my first impression when I began running on the F80 was how quiet it is and also how impact is decreased enormously by the cushioning on the deck.

I’ve seen a few complaints about the F80 but unfortunately many of them seem to be from people who put the machines together themselves! Perhaps they didn’t do it correctly because I haven’t had a moment’s trouble with mine and I would recommend it.

Bottom Line:

The Sole F80 Treadmill is a great value for the price and much best quality than some treadmills that cost a lot more.
