Smooth Fitness 7.35 Folding Treadmill User Review

Being 6’2” I always had difficulty with treadmill beds, they just weren’t long enough.  I purchased the Smooth Fitness 7.35 because of the longer belt and I was also swayed by the excellent warranty on parts and electronics. Seven years is about double the length of time that treadmills usually last.

I have no complaints at all about this puppy. It runs quietly, the bed is comfortable and I barely hear a squeak from it.  The controls are very responsive when changing incline and speed.

I figured if I was going to invest this much money into a treadmill I would have it brought straight into the house where I wanted it. Glad I did. Even my neighbor and I couldn’t have moved it easily – this thing weighs about 250 pounds.

Putting it together was easy with the two of us and I am extremely pleased with the Smooth Fitness 7.35’s performance. With the wide choice of fitness programs, I know this machine is going to keep me happy for many years to come.

Bottom Line

The Smooth Fitness 7.35 folding treadmill is one of the best if you’re over 6’ tall and you want all the toys and a fine looking machine.

The Schwinn 840 Treadmill is a top of the line commercial-quality piece of exercise equipment that anyone who likes to run, wants to lose weight, or keep in good health should own.

The Schwinn 840 is designed and engineered with user comfort and convenience in mind.  Many people can’t fit a full-size treadmill into their exercise areas but this one folds up.

You can adjust the speed from .5 to 10 miles per hour so you can run at exactly the speed you want to suit your routine.

The Softrak suspension deck is designed for comfort and to lessen impact on ankles and knee joints.  The 2.5 horsepower continuous duty motor works quietly and efficiently.

Choose your daily workout from any of the 16 built-in programs which include a number of hill workouts that go up to the maximum 10% incline.

The Schwinn 840 comes with a heart rate monitor and you can keep an eye on the large integrated screen to see how you’re doing. You can also see how far you’ve run, for how long and even how many calories you’ve burned.

Schwinn 840 Treadmill User Review

I’d already made the mistake of purchasing a cheap treadmill and I didn’t want to go through the experience again. It was broken within a couple of months and I had no recourse. Never again.

Schwinn is rapidly becoming one of the most well-known and trusted names in the exercise and fitness industry and I knew in order to get an excellent machine I’d have to look for an equally excellent brand name – backed by a great warranty.

As with so many heavy exercise machines the box looked like a bomb had hit it when it arrived, but all was well except one bolt was missing. I called customer service and they sent the wrong bolt (probably because I didn’t explain myself properly). The correct bolt arrived this morning.

I don’t have a whole lot of room for a treadmill and I was surprised how big this one is. But it folds up quickly after use so it’s not a problem. I like having the wide track because I tend to wave my arms around as I run. (Think Jack Sparrow).

I love my Schwinn 840 Treadmill!

Bottom Line

The Schwinn 840 Treadmill is a reliable and well constructed and designed treadmill that anyone will love to own.
